Extreme Recycling Inc. is committed to managing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) matters as an integral part of our business. It is our policy to assure the EHS integrity of our processes and facilities at all times and at all places. We will do so by adhering to the following principals.

COMPLIANCE

We will comply with applicable laws and regulations and will implement programs and procedures to assure compliance. Compliance with EHS standards will be a key ingredient the training, performance reviews and incentives of all employees. We will refrain from employing prison labor for the processing or handling of electronic hazardous waste.

RISK REDUCTION, PREVENTION & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

We will seek opportunities, beyond regulatory compliance requirements, for reducing risk to human health and the environment, and we will establish and meet our own EHS quality standards where appropriate.

We will employ management systems and procedures specifically designed to prevent activities and or conditions that pose a threat to human health , safety or the environment. We will monitor the EHS program and continually seek opportunities to improve processes to minimize our impact on the environment and the health and safety of those who work for us or work on our behalf. We will look for ways to minimize risk and protect our employees and the communities in which we operate by employing clean technology, including safe technologies and operating procedures as well as being prepared for emergencies.

We will strive to minimize releases to the air, land or water through use of clean technologies and the safe use of chemicals. We will minimize the amount and toxicity of waste generated and will ensure the safe treatment and disposal of waste.

We will refrain from exporting hazardous electronic waste to countries outside the United States.

We will encourage all down stream recyclers to operate consistent with the principals of our commitment to non export of hazardous waste by performing a site audit of each facility prior to doing business. We will include language in our contracts to encourage compliance.

We will provide secure facilities and procedures to protect our customer's data while it is under our control.

COMMUNICATION

We will communicate our commitment to our EHS quality and to our company's environmental performance to our employees, vendors and customers by posting this policy in the workplace and including it on our website www.extremerecyclinginc.com.

We will communicate our data eradication methods to our customers in our contract language and follow our customers requirements in our data eradication procedures. A description of our data eradication methods and software will be published on our website and posted in our public drop off and Receiving areas.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

We will review our progress on an annual basis. We will continuously seek opportunities to improve our adherence to these principals and to improving our environmental performance.
