DATA SECURITY
At Extreme Recycling data security and confidentiality is a high priority. Extreme Recycling's
processes are designed to protect client information and secure client data throughout our processes.
Material is secured upon delivery to our facilities. Our processing areas in all facilities are accessed
by security code only abnd monitored by security cameras.
Extreme Recycling routinely performs data eradication services for all clients using U. S. Department of
Defense (DOD) Cleaning and Sanitation Matrix DOS 5220-22M software. This process is used to remove all data
from all storage devices unless another method is specified by the client. Data storage devices that cannot
be cleansed using software programs are processed through a shredding device which renders them completely
useless and ensures data is unrecoverable.
Any paper documents contained in client shipments are secured in our facilities and returned to the client
s requested or destroyed by shredding.
At the clients request a Certificate of Destruction specifying the item description, serial number, method
used for data eradication and the final disposition is provided.
Extreme Recycling carries Errors and Omissions and Data Breach insurance coverage in the amount of one million dollars.
